00:00:00Are you just hiding out in here?
00:00:11Hi, I'm Ali, and welcome to VTV Cribs.
00:00:18Today, we're at AIR.
00:00:20Let's go.
00:00:22Hello.
00:00:23Thanks so much for coming.
00:00:24Hi, Ali.
00:00:25Shane, nice to meet you.
00:00:26Nice to meet you.
00:00:27Thanks for having us.
00:00:28Of course.
00:00:29Welcome to AIR.
00:00:30Thank you.
00:00:31This is our office.
00:00:33Amazing.
00:00:33Should we do a quick tour?
00:00:35Let's do it.
00:00:36So you walk in, and it's a nice warm kitchen.
00:00:39Pancake breakfast on Thursdays.
00:00:41Sounds like a tradition.
00:00:42It's a tradition for the team.
00:00:43You wrote this, right?
00:00:44I did write that.
00:00:45It painstakingly took a few hours to write.
00:00:49You know, I think our belief at AIR is that creative work
00:00:53will remain deeply human.
00:00:56Our product, as an example, doesn't try to solve the, like,
00:00:59zero-to-one creative problem.
00:01:01We focus on taking your assets and allowing you to multiply them.
00:01:04I left my phone number at the bottom of it.
00:01:06Yes, I was told this is your real phone number.
00:01:07That's my real number.
00:01:08You can call me anytime you want.
00:01:10Very bold.
00:01:11Okay, well, this is VTV Cribs, so we need to ask.
00:01:14You guys are customers of Vercel.
00:01:16We are.
00:01:16Tell me a little bit about how you're using Vercel.
00:01:19When you're building an organization that is attempting to be very progressive in software
00:01:24development, you have to use tools that emulate that.
00:01:27Vercel being no different, Vercel sort of came to us as we started the business.
00:01:31It was the default.
00:01:33I think Vercel has been critical to how we build and shape product here, given the type
00:01:38of product we're trying to deploy.
00:01:40Back here is where we do all of our programming, so there's been book readings and live podcast
00:01:47sessions.
00:01:48There's a trivia night for ad agency folks.
00:01:50You mentioned this is a space for creatives, AIR is for creatives.
00:01:53Yeah.
00:01:54Can you tell us a little bit more about AIR and what you guys do?
00:01:56Put all your images and videos inside of our product and give feedback and approve things.
00:01:59You can deploy them out to your ads manager or your CMS, and then you can use AI to multiply
00:02:04those assets.
00:02:05We didn't talk about this.
00:02:07Um, yeah.
00:02:08Explain.
00:02:09That's Darshan.
00:02:11Darshan is in a boy band.
00:02:13Last week we threw a concert for a couple of thousand people for this boy band called
00:02:18Boy Throb, and then hosted an after party hereafter.
00:02:21So, that's Darshan.
00:02:24That is incredible.
00:02:25We actually should get you some merch.
00:02:31Oh, heck yeah.
00:02:32Get you situated.
00:02:33Oh my god.
00:02:34Is it like there?
00:02:35Yeah.
00:02:36Keep kids off Dropbox.
00:02:37Oh my god.
00:02:38So, look at that.
00:02:39There's like a little record room in the back.
00:02:42Uh, you do need some little phone booths for the team.
00:02:45Yes.
00:02:46First remnants of an office.
00:02:47Yeah.
00:02:48We went to Iceland, the best air in the world.
00:02:50Wow.
00:02:51For our winter release.
00:02:52We're gonna put some bamboo up here at some point and make it look nice, but...
00:02:56Nice.
00:02:57Right now it's just a little tavernous.
00:02:58Gas?
00:02:59Yeah.
00:03:00Yeah.
00:03:01It's very New York.
00:03:02We're making the camera crew do some work right now.
00:03:04So this is, you know, what everybody would say is an office space.
00:03:10Two sides of our office go to market and on the other side is EPD.
00:03:14How big is the team?
00:03:15The team is just under 100.
00:03:1865 are here in New York.
00:03:20Got it.
00:03:21We've tripled the size of the team in the last year.
00:03:23We're pro-dogs in the office, so there's a bunch of dogs around.
00:03:28So these are more conference rooms.
00:03:30Are you just hiding out in here?
00:03:36This is Alex.
00:03:37Alex helped build the space.
00:03:39He sort of lurks around in dark corners.
00:03:43We love surprise guests.
00:03:45Uh, yeah.
00:03:46So where do you sit?
00:03:47I sit right there in the corner.
00:03:49Oh, they put you in the corner.
00:03:51Yes, they do because I'm too loud for everybody.
00:03:54This was another campaign we did with Maury Povich.
00:03:58Oh, yes.
00:03:59So we had a live studio audience.
00:04:00I had to Google who he was.
00:04:01Jeff texted me.
00:04:02Yeah, wow.
00:04:03Wow, you just showed your age there.
00:04:04That's tough.
00:04:05But I knew the boy band.
00:04:07There you go.
00:04:08Okay.
00:04:09Something for every generation.
00:04:10Totally.
00:04:11One of our customers is actually an art curator.
00:04:13This is the first piece my dad bought.
00:04:16He got it on Canal Street in New York.
00:04:20Maybe the last part of the office is my favorite.
00:04:23All of the years and the journey and memories along the way.
00:04:27This is the event space when it was empty.
00:04:29And then we have a bunch of customer products in the office.
00:04:32This is a sweet nothings creamy.
00:04:34Perfect.
00:04:35It's gonna change your life.
00:04:36Thank you.
00:04:37Is there a place that you go to hide?
00:04:39In the office?
00:04:40Yeah.
00:04:41I go across the street to 11 Howard and then you go upstairs.
00:04:44I call it conference room H.
00:04:45Okay.
00:04:46And on the second floor of 11 Howard there's like desks and a chair and like...
00:04:51So you escape the office?
00:04:53Yeah, no, it's right across the street.
00:04:54But like that's...
00:04:55I'm there probably 20% of my day on a call or whatever.
00:04:59On air.
00:05:00Very clever.
00:05:01On air.
00:05:02There it is.
00:05:03Thank you so much.
00:05:04It was so great to meet you.
00:05:09Very much the opposite of the 101 billboards.
00:05:11Yeah.
00:05:12Yeah.
00:05:13Totally the opposite.
