00:00:21so with all these ai tools decrease in hiring layoffs and a lot of competition in the market

00:00:28web dev feels kind of dead but there's the other side of the story that you are missing on and it's

00:00:33the whole point of this video it's a fact that ai is genuinely great at generating code and handling

00:00:38the repetitive stuff that used to eat up hours of a developer's day but the thing is generating code

00:00:44and actually building a working product are two completely different skills because someone still

00:00:49has to figure out how all these ai generated pieces fit together into an architecture that doesn't fall

00:00:55apart the moment real users show up yes ai generated code works well on your local host but blindly

00:01:02pushing that straight to production is the kind of move that can end your careers because before you

00:01:07ship anything you need someone who can actually review that code and think about the edge cases that ai

00:02:54recommendation about things that you can do at first stop treating coding like it's just about memorizing

00:03:00syntax because syntax is literally the one thing ai has already mastered better than most humans ever

00:03:07will so instead focus on learning how to actually use these ai tools really well because the developers

00:03:13getting hired right now aren't the ones avoiding ai out of pride they're the ones who can generate

00:03:24accept changes in your code editor you still need to make your foundational knowledge strong enough in

00:03:29order to understand the ai generated code another thing is get good at things that ai can't replace

00:03:36things like architectural judgment understanding business context system design debugging and problem

00:03:43solving these are the skills that needs human touch and ai is never going to fully replace these

00:03:49another important thing is to build beyond basic projects because no one is going to hire you over a crud

00:03:55application on your resume anymore you need to start building things that actually show judgment real
