00:00:00HiggsField just killed HiggsField.
00:00:02And that's because with the release of the HiggsField API,
00:00:04you are no longer tied to a $220 a month subscription plan
00:00:09to get access to the top AI image and video generators.
00:00:12Instead, you can just pay as you go
00:00:14when you need images or videos
00:00:16with your particular project
00:00:17at rates that are lower than the competition.
00:00:20And unless you're operating at a huge scale,
00:00:22this will save you money in the long run.
00:00:24So today I'm gonna break down how this all works.
00:00:26We're gonna dive into the pricing.
00:00:28I'm going to give you a skill
00:00:29that essentially acts as a mini MCP for this API
00:00:32and we'll go through an actual use case.
00:00:35So let's get started.
00:00:37So the HiggsField API was just released today.
00:00:38This is entirely separate from the monthly subscription.
00:00:41So if you pay for a monthly subscription,
00:00:44that batch of money that goes to that
00:00:46does not apply to the API whatsoever.
00:00:48On the flip side, if you wanna use the API,
00:00:50you do not need a monthly subscription.
00:00:52Two entirely separate things.
00:00:54Now, to get to the HiggsField API,
00:00:56all you need to do is head to the main HiggsField page
00:00:58at higgsfield.ai.
00:01:00And then you'll go ahead and click over here
00:01:01on the HiggsField API link.
00:01:03That'll bring you to a page that looks like this.
00:01:05If you sign up with a business email,
00:01:07they'll throw you $15 for your first few generations.
00:01:10And when you sign in,
00:01:11you will see some cards appear at the top of your screen
00:01:12asking for your credit card
00:01:14to be able to get the $15 thrown to you
00:01:16because the way it works, like all APIs,
00:01:18you give it some sort of wallet
00:01:19with a certain amount of money
00:01:20and it's going to draw from that wallet
00:01:22every time you ask for a generation.
00:01:24But before we talk about actually using this thing,
00:01:26let's first talk about the pricing,
00:01:28which is the big sell here.
00:01:29First of all, they're running like a seven-day limited offer.
00:01:32So you can choose two video models
00:01:34and an image generation model
00:01:36to get essentially an extra discount on them.
00:01:38I suggest for at least one of your discounts
00:01:40doing the C-Dance 2.5 model,
00:01:42which is sort of the best one out there.
00:01:44I did C-Dance 2.5 and 2.0
00:01:46because 2.0 can get up to 4K resolution.
00:01:49Now, in terms of pricing,
00:01:51again, what did we used to work with?
00:01:54Well, we had no option,
00:01:55but these subscription plans,
00:01:56which ran up to $200 a month
00:01:58and there were plenty of times
00:02:00if you've used these
00:02:01where you simply did not get even close
00:02:03to the amount of generations you could.
00:02:05So you had a bunch of unused credits
00:02:07at the end of each and every month.
00:02:09But with the API,
00:02:09we don't have to worry about that
00:02:10because it is simply pay as you go.
00:02:12But what does the API pricing look like
00:02:14when we compare it to the other big players
00:02:15in the market like FAL?
00:02:17Well, in general, it's cheaper
00:02:19or it's simply more available.
00:02:21When we look at things like the Cling model,
00:02:22it's about 15% cheaper across the board
00:02:24than what you get with FAL.
00:02:25And we have access to other models
00:02:27that you simply can't get in FAL.
00:02:30And what does that pricing look like
00:02:31when we're talking about
00:02:31the most expensive video generation model,
00:02:34something like C-Dance 2.5?
00:02:35Well, we're looking about 18 cents a second
00:02:39for the top models out there.
00:02:41Now, let's talk about how you actually use this thing
00:02:42inside of Cloud Code or Codex.
00:02:44There's a quick start over here on the left.
00:02:46It says, send this prompt to your agent.
00:02:48I don't suggest doing this
00:02:49because this prompt is more about
00:02:50how you can set up Higgs field
00:02:53inside a particular application
00:02:54when chances are you're just like,
00:02:55hey, I'm inside of Cloud Code
00:02:56or inside of Codex
00:02:57and I want to like on demand
00:02:58tell it, hey, go generate a video
00:03:00using C-Dance
00:03:01or hey, go generate a video using Cling,
00:03:03so on and so forth.
00:03:04So in that case,
00:03:05what you need to do is
00:03:06A, you need to create an API key.
00:03:08You're just going to click
00:03:08this button right here.
00:03:09It's going to show you an API key.
00:03:11Just save that somewhere.
00:03:13And then you need to point Cloud Code or Codex
00:03:15or whatever AI agent you're using
00:03:17at whatever model you want.
00:03:19So for example,
00:03:20let's say I wanted to use C-Dance 2.5.
00:03:23If I click on here,
00:03:24I can just copy this prompt
00:03:25and this prompt will dump
00:03:27a ton of information
00:03:28inside of Codex or Cloud Code.
00:03:31So you can see here,
00:03:32it gives like the overview,
00:03:33it gives the actual schema
00:03:34on and on and on,
00:03:36does a bunch of information.
00:03:37So this is enough
00:03:37for any sort of AI system you're using,
00:03:40but this is kind of cumbersome
00:03:41because what is the expectation?
00:03:44Do you expect me to always go
00:03:45into the Higgsfield.ai,
00:03:47go over here to the model,
00:03:48copy that prompt,
00:03:49bring it to my AI system
00:03:50and that's how the flow should go?
00:03:52Obviously not.
00:03:52That's again, pretty cumbersome.
00:03:54So instead what I've done
00:03:55is I've created a Higgsfield API skill
00:03:57for you guys.
00:03:58I will link that in the opinion comment
00:03:59and all you need to do
00:04:00is go inside of Cloud Code,
00:04:02go inside of Codex
00:04:03and you're going to clone this repo.
00:04:05If you don't know how to clone a repo,
00:04:06all you need to do is copy the URL,
00:04:08head inside of your AI agent of choice,
00:04:10paste it in there and say,
00:04:12clone and run this repo.
00:04:15It knows to clone the repo
00:04:16and then run the skill.
00:04:17What the skill is going to do
00:04:18is it's going to set up
00:04:19the Higgsfield API on your agent.
00:04:23And from now on,
00:04:24whenever you want to use
00:04:25the Higgsfield API,
00:04:26you just say,
00:04:27use the Higgsfield API
00:04:28to do whatever it is you want.
00:04:31And what's going to happen
00:04:32is Codex or Cloud Code
00:04:33is then going to go to Higgsfield
00:04:35on its own
00:04:36and it's going to take a look
00:04:37at the documentation
00:04:38and it's going to figure out
00:04:40what model needs what.
00:04:42So it's almost like a primitive MCP.
00:04:44You can use this skill
00:04:45to ask for recommendations
00:04:46when it comes to models
00:04:47and you can even tell it,
00:04:49hey, I want you to create clips
00:04:51for an explainer
00:04:52and you can give it
00:04:53some sort of budget
00:04:53to stay under
00:04:54so that it doesn't just
00:04:55blow through your limits.
00:04:57So now let's put it to the test.
00:04:58I'm giving Astra a prompt saying,
00:05:00I want to use
00:05:01the motion design skill
00:05:02to create a 15-second explainer
00:05:04showing how creatine
00:05:05helps power your muscles.
00:05:06And then at the end,
00:05:07I say,
00:05:07I want to do this
00:05:08using CDance 2.5
00:05:10through the Higgsfield API.
00:05:12Now, if you don't know

00:05:14it's a skill
00:05:14that I've created
00:05:15that helps you create
00:05:17essentially these
00:05:17like motion graphics,
00:05:19did a whole video on it
00:05:20and I will also link the skill

00:06:00because like I said,
00:06:01it can be a little janky
00:06:03when we're kind of just like

00:06:05and like copying
00:06:06these prompts over.
00:06:08So definitely check out the skill
00:06:09if you're someone
00:06:09who's going to be using
00:06:10a ton of different models
00:06:11and just want a simple way
00:06:12to execute all this.

00:06:32and you want a one-stop shop
00:06:34to have access to all the models.
00:06:36So now we have some options
00:06:38other than what we had
00:06:39with like Fowl before.
00:06:40Now Higgs field also offers us.
